Manuel E. Garcia is a fourth generation native of Key
West. He excelled in sports while attending Key West
High then took his undergraduate degree from Florida
Atlantic University. He received his legal education at
Nova University School of Law earning his Juris
Doctorate degree in 1991.
Upon graduating from law school, Manny returned
to his hometown of Key West to practice plaintiff's personal injury
and criminal defense. In 1993, he founded The Law Offices of Manuel
E. Garcia, P.A. conveniently located in the historic Sawyer Building
on Whitehead Street across from the Monroe County Court House. Business
is conducted in English, Spanish and German. In 2000, the practice
welcomed Mr. Ronald E. Solomon who associated with the firm to represent
injured accident victims. The office is fully equipped to provide
the full range of personal injury and insurance litigation services
right here in Key West.
Mr. Garcia is an active member of both the Florida Bar
and Monroe County Bar Association. He is a sustaining
member of the American Trial Lawyers Association. He is
currently president of the Monroe County Chapter of the
Florida Association of Criminal Devense Lawyers. He
maintains a high profile in community affairs serving on
the Board of Directors for the Key West Y.M.C.A., The
Montessori Children's School and The Police Athletic
League of Key West.
In personal life, Mr. Garcia resides in Key West with his wife and two children. He enjoys basketball, tennis
and fishing.
